Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's
degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related field and a minimum
of one year of experience required; or a Masters Degree in
Biology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology required. Hands-on
laboratory experience preferably in an independent project
preferred. The candidate must have the ability and desire to
work on projects with minimum supervision; must have a high
level of initiative. Must have the ability to evaluate data and
help in the designing of experiments and be able to operate
standard laboratory equipment such as balances, centrifuges,
speed vac, spectrophotometer, and autoclave. The candidate will
have familiarity with standard laboratory safety procedures.
Strong computer skills including experience with word processing
and spreadsheet software; knowledge of relational databases.
